we can take an precedent in Roman jurisprudence, where Roman citizens must be born from both Roman Citizens - otherwise no Roman Citizenship was granted, even by birth, and the family can reside in Lazio even hundred years:)) Good law, isnt´ it?

so, that can resolve immigration problem - American or Eu citizen must have both parents EU citizens or Americans, so no bride/groom import, it will solve nothing... and to gain citizenship - no veil, graduation, fluent speaking of country´s language, paid work, no housewife for women, and for men - no beard, no heardscarves, fluent speaking of country´s language, paid work, no social welfare living....

it is quite easy, but the Left wants ragtag to cherish...
