I am a Christian, I have lived in Saudi Arabia

Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam

Submitted by M (United States), Mar 8, 2003 at 10:25

I recently saw parts of a training video from the worshipers and followers of O. B. L.. It showed the murderer-trainees entering a room in which was a dummy figure with a cross on it's chest. They fired live ammo at this dummy.

The message was clear - "we are here to kill Christians".

There was a deafening silence from the Muslim community around the world after 9/11. In their hearts, it seemed most muslims were unconcerned by the event. The silence showed O.B.L. that he was indeed a true son of Islam - few if any Mullahs or Imams or whatevers, publically scolded him based on the Koran or the tenets of the Islamic faith.

The muslim world is very different from the western one. In Saudi Arabia - there are no Jews. There are no practicing Christians - the Muslims outlaw it - they even have religeous police to take people to jail who do not practice the faith - I have seen those police myself. In any Muslim country you cannot get away from Islam - they call to prayer 5 times a day from tall towers where loud voices are amplified to reach all corners of every house and building. Free-will is not something that is valued by Islam. God gave us all the ability to choose between good and evil. The Muslims offer no choice - they force like-mindedness trough a constant 5 times a day, 365 days a year. . Just like moonies and Jim Jones, Muslims are mind-controlled. In my opinion, there is an entity that offers no choice and seems aligned with the values of the terrorist-muslims - and he is the devil.

Muslims have long called Christians dogs. They hate Jews. In some Islamic web-sites I have seen, tolerence of other faiths and beliefs is called devil worship! Tolerance is devil worship for many Muslims - think about that and what it means for your beliefs and culture. Don't be too comfortable - there are more muslims than Christians or Jews. They truly want all of us to be like them. The great news is that God, the supreme and loving father, can be trusted.... Even the Crusades that the Muslims point to as the root of evil were caused by the expansion of the arabs into Europe first. Have you ever been to Spain? - It's culture and architecture are clearly deeply influenced by their moorish invaders. Spain was occupied by arabs before Europe ever attacked Arabia.

Is Islam evil? The only judge of that is God. For you that believe in tolerance I commend you. For you that trust that Islam is tolerant of other faiths, I ask that God open your eyes - remember the Taliban shooting Rockets at the Buddist Statues in Afganistan? They hate and fear non-Muslims - it is fundamental to their religion to do so.

May God forgive me if I am wrong. I hope that I am.
