Silence Indicates Consent- Islam is silent.

Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam

If Islam is not evil, then I have ONE QUESTION: why the silence on terrorism? To date, not ONE Muslim has condemned terrorism, except to pay mild lip-service which is likewise AMBIGUOUS; not ONE Muslim has stated that terrorists will be punished in the afterlife.
Logically, this translates to the simple fact that Muslims do NOT condemn terrorism, and in fact they SUPPORT-- UNIVERSALLY.
If Christian (or Jewish) terrorist-bombers acted in any part of the world, Christians (or Jews) would not hesitate to condemn such actions-- and to DENY that such would be rewarded in the afterlife, but would in fact be PUNISHED for murder.

However, not ONE Muslim to date has ever done such. This simply means that they secretly SUPPORT terrorism as a legitimate means of political expression; as such, they ARE evil. There is NO "right to silence" when it comes to tolerating terrorism: rather, silence indicates CONSENT to the terrorist acts in question.

Likewise, Islamic groups have issued death-sentences or "fatwas" on other Muslims who offended them-- however no such death-sentence "fatwa" has EVER been issued against ANY terrorist. This conspicuous silence and absence of action, bears out the fact that Muslims consider ANY act of violence to be valid and acceptable, if done in the interest of Allah and Islam. Why was there no death-fatwa on Arafat, Bin Laden, or any other mainstream terrorist? The only answer, is that their actions are considered acceptabe by mainstream Muslims. As a result, they will never develop into a stable society due to the lack of prohibition against ruthless violence.

I personally believe that the United States should have no entanglements with foreign nations; however this does not excuse terrorism-- particularly when the pen is mightier than the sword-- and likewise nothing is WEAKER than terrorist bombings when it comes to political progress: since 9/11, US support for Israel is invincible, and US presence in the middle-east is stronger than any time in history; likewise, freedoms around the world are WEAKER than ever. If Islamic truly believe in peace and freedom, then they MUST condemn terrorism to the fullest extent of their law.
