Obession with Islam

Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam

Submitted by Joesph Williams (United States), Mar 6, 2004 at 12:15

Islam is the only way of life, the only religion, people, that refuse to adapt western values. Every other people in the world have either accepted the western way of life, or is not fighting it. Muslims on the other hand stick to Islam, and that is the problem..., they know the potential of Islam.

For it was Islam that brought the warrying tribes of Arabia together to create the greatest cilvilization in the history of the world. Wasn't under Islamic Rule that Jews... lived peacefully and safely, while your brethran were being killed and massacred in Christian Europe? Those in power are afraid of Islam, because Islam calls for all humanity to be equal and share in the world's resources, not just a few to benefit.

We talk about the Western freedoms and liberty, look at the rest of the world and how poor people are mistreated and used by us. What has the Western world really done for the world, other then kill poor nations for their resources, and dump dicatorships on them? Instead of saying Islam is bad, we should really look at the facts and examine our history.
