u talked abt how the quran is contradictory...just wanted to elaborate on the example u gave.

see, muslims believe Islam is a contination of the judeo-christian tradition..and that its the final religion. And while they believe that Jesus was a prophet of God, they also believe that some of his teachings have been distorted by the church and by different political groups...among those teachings is the one that says Jesus was the son of God. Muslims believe he was just a prophet, and that God is Absolute, He has no relatives and no one can aspire to be His equal etc....so for them, Christians are not people who claim Jesus is God's relative...

You may think that is unfair, but I'm just pointing out that that's not a contradiction in the Quran...for Muslims anyway.
