Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam

James we all do respect. No one stated that Muslims are bad people. In fact, coming from a middle eastern country and dealing with them, myself i can aknowledge that there are many kind hearted Mulisms. However, the issue is Islam rather than the Muslim. If you think the Qu'ran promotes no hate, war fighting and Jihad.. maybe a college education would be beneficial. Take a look at the follwing verses from the holy Qu'ran.
1. "Truly, Allah has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties... theirs shall be paradise. They fight in Allah's cause, so they kill and are killed...." Surat At-Taubah 9:111.

2. "Truly, Allah loves those who fight in his cause in rows as if they were solid structures." Surat As-Saff 61:4.

3. "Kill the mushrikum [non-Muslims] wherever you find them, capture them, besiege them, and lie in wait for them in each and every ambush. If they repent and perform As-salat [public prayers with Muslims] and give Zakat [Muslim alms], then leave their way free. Allah is oft-forgiving, most merciful." Surat At-Taubah 9:5.

However, there are the good aspects in islam as in other religions. The bases of islam (the 5 pillars) are all very good acts which a muslim must carry out.
