Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam

Submitted by Sanna Ahmed (United Kingdom), Nov 11, 2005 at 10:10

islam has been neglected ever since the events on 9/11 7/7, the people who are out there killing their own muslim brothers and sisters are not true muslims, they are a shame to our beautiful peaceful religon and a discrace to humanity.

but with all this war and hate what is the point of any one existing if you ever sit down and ask yourself 'are you worth it' you would never get an answer, because we are not perfect, as much as we would like to be. however much we say bush is a silly man and blair is his dog, we can not critsise them. we are tested every day Allah (swt) has not made us perfect. we are tested every day of our lives and it is up to us what path we choose.

by being born and bred in the uk, i know that ISLAM is misunderstood by a lot of young people especially the pakistani community, i will tell you that i have seen people who have taken the wrong path and that are taught wrong things about islam, such as dying with a smile on their face when there dead, these extremists are the main cause as to making my religon, my identity a walking embarrasment.
