Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam
in response to reader comment: Islam *is* evil

In the 1950s and 1960s in the West homosexuallity acts where seen as sick, degenerate and perverse. Today those who oppose the acts (which are in direct contradiction with Mother Nature as some say) are seen as "homophobic" and sent off to a psychiatrist.

I don't agree with the manner in which the case you spoke of was handled; but these people, if in fact they did commit this crime against humanity, should be punished. Just a note: It wold be better to be punished in this life rather than the hereafter, ie Hell-fire for eternity.

The point, Islam follows the divine guidance from Allah (in Arabic); God (in English). Rules are not changed merely by a democratic ruling or the feeling of the time. The rules of God do not change.

Who is better to make rules for us; God or some guy who was probably smoking pot in highschool.

Another point, people are not infallible and without defects. This is why we must follow divine guidance. Why today, if you ask a Christian teenager: What are the Ten Commandment?; can most of them not answer. The misguided people of today do not teach their children basic laws of humanity and then they wonder why their children are rebellious and performing illegal acts.

May God save us all.
