Dear Dr Pipes,

You have quoted a few quotes from the Koran, quotes which are extremely contradictive, which should in fact allready call into question how holy this book really is. It was written by a man, who wasn't even sure if he would go to Heaven, it was written by a man, who thought he was going insane when he had his first vision of Gabriel... does that sound like an act of God. Does the fact that he killed and slaughtered Jews and Christians sound like something a God should approve of. Yes, Christians have killed terribely in the past, with a prime explame the crusades, but the Christians are acting contrerary to what the Bible says... "love your neighbour, love your enemies, etc". Whereas Muslims are acting according to what their Holy Book says. In fact, it is a COMMANDMENT! They must kill the pagans, the Jews, the Christians. They have the commandment to make the whole world Muslim. They may only make peace with a pagan country if they know they will lose a war with them, however, as soon as they are strong enough they must defeat them. Look at the founder of this religion, this religion which twists historical facts (ie- Jesus wasn't crucified and the Bible was changed by the Christians, whilst historical evedince shows strong proof towards these events).
Don't get me wrong... I love people, and my heart goes out so strong for these people.. but it is a religion which needs to be looked at so carefully. So carefully. Because what its scriptures tell its people to do is pure evil. It is totally and utterly evil. A religion which is willing to kill not only pagans, but people who turn away from the religion is something very dangerous and we should not be innocent about this.

best regards,
