Your approach toward religion is to apply it as a means of power rather than a search for spiritual truth. The last time Muslim radicals attemped to do this, it resulted in the Crusades, and scores of people were killed as a result. Thankfully, the vast majority of Muslims are opposed to killing non-Muslims. However, as we have seen in the past 13 or so years, there are those extremists who won't hesitate to hijack your religion in an attempt to force non-Muslims to accept Islam.

If you are to grow spiritually, then you must keep in mind that the search for spiritual truth is infinitely more important than the lust for power, which is what drove Al-Zarqawi to commit the murders of the innocent. It is what leads Al Qaida to do its own will in the name of Islam, rather than being willing to do Islam's will. I hope you don't fall into the same spiritual and mental trap that they have fallen into.
