Truth of the matter

Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict XVI and the Koran
in response to reader comment: Let me correct you

Please do not state your spin as a matter of fact. Just because you have been indoctrinated into something doesn't make the opposite of it wrong. or you twist everything to spread hatred against islam?

You guys are telling muslims to re-interpret their tradition. But look! you can't even understand your own book, i.e., the Bible. You believe in trinity, divinity of Jesus (PBUH) and you bring your proof from the Bible by interpreting ambiguous sayings of Jesus or tetimony of Thomas (Even bogus verses like the one about trinity that has been removed unceremoniously). Muslims didn't start finding mistakes in the Bible, it's christians who have been looking at these scriptures and trying to figure out how to re-concile one bible verse with another. If it is a matter of re-interpretation, why doesn't someone re-print the bible with all the corrections (there are so may versions of Bible, no harm in bringing out one more).

Are you searching for truth or happy and content with the lies you have?

You know what the problem is? The word bible means a library. So it means that there are so many books. Regular people don't read whole libraries. So normal christians really haven't read it cover to cover. Only the evangelicals do who after reading it cover to cover either denounce the christian faith or start living in denial for the rest of their lives.

Then we have the Quran. A compact book. You can read it cover to cover in even three days! So when people who want to find fault with muslims or islam read it they come back with what they were looking for. You can imagine what will happen to them if they were able to read the whole bible with the same frame of mind.

So my advice to you is don't close your mind before it's too late.

BTW, you only won a battle against Saladin. You came to take Jeruslem with your allies but could not, but went back and died a sick man. Saladin is the victor here. Any doubts?
