First I would like to thank you about being so committed that you find the truth, and am really impressed that you read quaran, although am not satisfied about your understanding of some issues in it, but that means you care to find the truth.
I wasn't employing any deception when I wrote the article,it is the concepts which I have been taught since I was a child, and I remember one of the first "hadith"(the prophet Mohammed(P.B.U.H) saying)
that : a woman was put into hell because of a cat she killed , she wouldn't let her eat, so the cat died.
if you have been taugth that killing a cat is such a crime what would you think about killing people?!!!
I can understand that it is really difficult for you to accept the srictness of some punishments in Islam but have you ever tried to think about them. it is a policy that you use the instinct of fear in human being to forbidd him from doing somethings.this instinct is really a very strong factor that determines our deeds,
the problem is how a"ayyah" is being interpreted, me ,personally I don't blame you if you find somethings really strange about Islam, considering that you live in a tottally different society, but
you shouldn't take one thing in Quaran -that you could be mis-understanding- and refuse it according to it.
have you read the scientific discoveries in Quaran, some discoveries that have been discovered recently, it was found in Quaran 1400 years ago.
Second about Meccan Quaran and Meddianian Quaran.Meccan Islam was about "Tawheed" (worshipping a single God) and explaining main ideas about the religion, Meddinian Islam was about "Ahkam and moamalat" (explaining rules, dealings) and it was really natural to try to globalize the religion after it was set in the region, because it is not just for Arabs it is for all mankind. and it is not allowed to kill non-Muslims just because they are non-believers as in Quaran :(no obody shoud be forced to take a certain religion the truth has been distinguished from deception).but it was a duty to explain the religion just like missions in christianity.
thanks again, may God guides us to the truth,Salam(peace)
