Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict XVI and the Koran
in response to reader comment: Oh For GODS Sake!

Just so you know, I've read every translation of the Bible many times over and there are no differences in any of them... Where the differences are is in the two distinct interpretations made by people...

The traditional Catholic Church believes exactly what the Gospels teach which is REPENTANCE for the forgiveness of sins...

Modern christianity believes that through the blood of the cross they are automatically saved from their sins...

As you have stated... If the later were true... Why are they still struggling with sin?

Anyway... Christians will never come to understand the Qur'an until they accept the true teachings of our own Bible and start REPENTING, but we know that will never happen as God has already told us so in the Bible and in the Qur'an...

Christianity is a religion of the people for the people...
And unfortunately, as I've stated before, God is not a democracy...

And as you stated earlier...

"like i said so many times before. it dont take a rocket scientist to understand all the Holy Books come from the one and only creator of us all. i hope they get the same message as we do...."

And I concur...
Submitting....
