Thanks for clearing things up lionheart

Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict XVI and the Koran
in response to reader comment: Oh For GODS Sake!

Two passages come to mind...

I Peter 4:1-2
Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same thought, for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer by human passions but by the will of God.

II Timothy 4:3-4
For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own likings, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander into myths.

While 'sucking up' might get you ahead in this world, 'sucking up' to Jesus isn't gonna get you very far, and if you think otherwise, you are only deceiving yourself...

You can worship Jesus all you want but if you aren't doing the will of the Father you aren't getting into His Kingdom...

God is not a democracy! The traditional Church knew it, modern christianity does not...

You keep following your teachers and I'll keep suffering like an Apostle of Jesus... ;)
Submitting....
