Why can't people just accept each other for what they are rather than what they want them to be?

If I agreed with every concept of Christianity I would be Christian but I don’t that’s why I’m Muslim. I respect Christians in particular the Catholics but I will always be Muslim because there are some questions that Christianity can’t answer for me and Islam can that’s why it’s my chosen way of life. I just wish more people had that approach to religion rather that mocking each others faith
