Submitted by tariq (United Arab Emirates), Feb 19, 2006 at 06:08So u have no justification for the violence in bible?
You accept that the Quran speaks of the big bang?
You accept that the Quran taught modern science about embryology?
You accept that the bible has serious scientific errors?
Why is it that i never get ANSWERS from u?
All you do is write some more of your misunderstandings about Islam taken from websites of craig winn and ali sina.
""Until when he reached THE PLACE WHERE THE SUN SET, he found IT GOING DOWN INTO a black sea, and found by it a people. We said: O Zulqarnain! either give them a chastisement or do them a benefit… Until when he reached the land of the rising of the sun, he found IT RISING on a people to whom We had given no shelter from It" Surah 18:86, 90 Shakir"
Read this part again and this time use your brain. you'll know where you are making a mistake and the answer will come to you.
"The Prophet asked me at sunset, "Do you know where the sun goes (at the time of sunset)?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know better." He said, "It goes (i.e. travels) till it prostrates Itself underneath the Throne and takes the permission to rise again, and it is permitted and then (a time will come when) it will be about to prostrate itself but its prostration will not be accepted, and it will ask permission to go on its course but it will not be permitted, but it will be ordered to return whence it has come and so it will rise in the west. And that is the interpretation of the Statement of Allah: ‘And the sun Runs its fixed course for a term (decreed). That is The Decree of (Allah) The Exalted in Might, The All-Knowing.'" (36.38)"
ayat 36:38 is right. the sun has its fixed course. every 25 days it completes one rotation. another scientific miracle of the Quran. and the prophet as we all know was illitrate. he couldnt read or write. he was not a scientist. its the Quran which has scientific miracles. May be one day sunrise will start from west. as a christian you should beilieve in miracles.
