Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict XVI and the Koran
in response to reader comment: A Muslim view

Submitted by Anyone (United States), Jan 29, 2006 at 21:10

A muslim didnt just stand up and say something about the pope, he actually tried to assasinate him. Yes, thats right, a muslim shot Pope John Pall II several times. Guess what the pope did. He publicly forgave the man. He even kissed the Qur'an in a mosque.

The pope is not a God, he does not speak as God, and he does not act like the sinful Muhammad. He speaks what is good and what is right. Has he ever spoken hate? He wants the salvation of all people, and I emphasize all people, not just His religion, because that is not how he sees it. He is not trying to send some to Hell, and some to heaven, but all to heaven.

He speaks a peaceable message. You cannot argue with peace if you are a Muslim, unless you admit that Muslims advocate war and terror.
