I posed this question to our dear Nasr
[[Our dear Nasr how do you earn a living? For the readers there is a strange pre-occupation of lazy old men with religion in that part of the world]]
And this is his answer
The old men are giving reminders to always remember the Creator. People of surrounding give them necessities to carry on with life.
So you still did not answer my question: What do you do for living while the Chinese and the Hindus and the Buddhists of Malaysia work?
Then I asked
[[Then why does Bin Baz tell us that so was he a liar and for this see below?]]
It is called interpertration of opinion.
Hint: he told us that the earth is flat and it is the center of the universe and the sun orbits earth because the Qur'an says so right?
Didnt he correct his view after the prince of Saudi went to space giving more clues of whats happening outside earth.
Well read my link from his web site if you can read Arabic and hint: He does not even mention the name of the Prince and as for Ibn al-Qayyim he never said that the earth is like a ball and here is the link again
What a disaster the earth is flat and the sun orbits earth and the fool issues a fatwa of takfeer
Now our dear Nasr edits my post but I do not mind because I know now that Arabic texts are beyond your poor madrassa education and this is what I wrote
[[And here is tafseer Ibn Kathir to this disaster that the EARTH IS STATIONARY and that the sky can come down crashing on the flat and stationary earth]
And this is his answer
Read http://beta.quran.com/en/35/41 . Of course God is the one giving law of orbiting and gravity towards the celestial bodies.
I see so you agree with Ibn kathir that the earth is stationary thank for proving my point
And this is what I wrote
[[What a disaster so it seems that the old Sheikh was correct now you put up or and you must pardon me shut upAnd here is what al-Qurtubi saysأن سكون الأرض هو الذي عليه المسلمون وأهل الكتابOr Truly the STATIONARY OF EARTH is what Muslims and Ahl al-Kitab agree on..And here is the book "The running of the sun and the moon and the stationary of earth" By Bin Baz and for the readers you can download the book and judge for yourselves]]
Ibn Baz has corrected his statements as he used sources from earlier interpretations.
He really did not here is the link again if you can read Arabic
And here is the link for his hissy fit directed against the Egyptian secularist Ahmad Baha' el-Din if you can read Arabic
What a disaster and Bin Baz never changed his opinion he only he insisted that the Qur'an says that the earth is flat and stationary and the sun and the moon orbit the stationary earth
What a disaster
Even your pal ibn al-Qayyim he never said that the earth is like a ball and I proved to you that he was talking about the earth being covered by the sky after all your Allah says that the earth and the sky were like al-Ratq or one piece of cloth and no it has nothing to do with the big bang theory and do not even go there or I will prove again that you and you must pardon me ignorant
And Quran is not changed for what is presented in language of Quran is not contradictory at all. It is just matter of interpretation.
What interpretration when the Qur'an makes it very clear that the earth is flat and stationary and the sun and moon orbit earth! It is a disaster
Then I wrote
[[Wrong again the Islamic tradition tells us again and again that.
And our dear Nasr deleted the Arabic because he cannot read Arabic right our dear Nasr? so let me write it again
التفسير للصحابة والتاءويل للفقه
So you tell us our dear Nasr what does this mean? Let me guess you have no clue now you tell me why do you make a fool of yourself?
Then I wrote
Which means that Muslims should listen to what the likes of Bin Baz say and this is why I only tell you what you revered sources tell us and I disregard all translations because many Muslims and you must pardon me the likes of Yusuf Ali are blatant liars]]
This is his answer
But then Ibn Baz changed his view after Prince of Saudi went to space.
Read my links from HIS WEB SITE and tell us what he wrote!
So you say listen to Ibn Baz. And Ibn Baz corrected his statements.
Then tell us what he wrote
Hint: He did not change his mind except in saying that the sun rotates around itself so does the sun rotate around itself?
Then I asked
[[Then why does the Qur'an say as per Bin Baz that the earth is flat and starionary and the sun orbit earth you tell me]]
And this is his answer
Ibn Baz was referring to earlier tafseers and he corrected his view. But Quran is not changed as there is no contradiction to what is presented.
Then you are really saying that Muslims should get rid of the writings by al-Mufasereen? Right?
But here is the real disaster this means that Muslims for the past 1400 years have been fooled by the writings of al-Mufasereen because they said that the Qur'an says that the earth is flat and stationary and that the sun and the moon orbit earth!
Thank you for proving my point
[[ROTFL it is al-Qayyum and do us a favor and stick to Urdu and al-Syriac name the word al-Qayyum القيوم is not an Arabic word and al-Tabari tells us that it must be القائم or القيوومWhat a disaster al-Tabari is editing the Qur'an! al-Qayyum is a loan word from Syriac ܩܝܘܡܐ or Qayoma and here is the word in the PeshittaWhat a disaster another foreign in the Qur'an]]
we are talking about ابن قيم Ibn Qayyim being referred by Ibn Baz
So tell us what did he say IN ARABIC! Hint: he did not say that the earth is like a ball! And i provided you with the link if you can read Arabic
[[Evidence? IN ARABIC]]
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abd_al-Aziz_ibn_Baz . scroll down for its references.
Hello: there is nothing not a thing in this link and to add insult to injury it is not in Arabic
Shame on you you did not even check your own link
Hello: this is a link of a book written by an English kafir!
This is what i wrote
[[You cannot correct a Mufti this is like asking the prince to operate on some brain
And this is our dear Nasr's answer
I see you have nonaswer
Bin Baz was 100% correct]]
But Ibn Baz made a statement correcting his views.
Tell us kuffar what did he say in the links that I provided? Oh I forgot you cannot read Arabic I see
