qu'ran v BIBLE
Submitted by Jeff P (United States), Feb 21, 2006 at 10:28Once you take Jesus off the cross, He in effect died in vain and God killed Himself/Son for no purpose; what kind of God is that?
It's all about the blood. Blood, Blood, Blood of Jesus. Therein is life...The life is in the blood; the slain Lamb of God. God is little above us. He seeks us. We don't seek Him. He provides the sacrifice and we believe Him or not. "My sheep hear my voice....."
... Let me do it for you and I will make you acceptable. Isaiah knew he had unclean lips and Isaiah was a prophet. Job knew he needed to repent in ashes and Job was a righteous man. God is Holy and God is merciful and He alone provides the sacrifice for OUR sins.
It has been the same since Cain and Abel. Cain created his own sacrifice with working of his hands in the field and was rejected. Abel believed God and brought the baby lamb that God provided and sacrificed God's provision hence it was approved.
Nothing by the working of your hands is acceptable to God.
People build the city of Cain everyday out of willful ignorance thinking it will be acceptable. It's a mighty deception of the devil. Work, work work and then look what great you have done.
As if God really needs you to do something for Him???
God isn't really impressed. You may make a tall building, most likely by oppressing workers and stealing their wages and then proclaim how great you are. The tower of babel. Here it is. Look at my great works! Now did that tower impress God or did it kindle His anger?
Now really, what good thing can you do to impress God when a man like Isaiah had unclean lips and Job, a righteous man, had to repent?
Why did Issac live? Because his sacrifice was not beneficial. The ram that God made appear was. God provides the sacrifice, God provides eternal life, God does everything; we believe Him or we don't. Disbelief is death; belief in God's sacrifice, the Lord Jesus Christ, is eternal life.
Take away the blood of Jesus and you have the works of cain. The brother's have been at odds for centuries. One believed God; one believed himself.
Those who submit to the will of God believe they can do no good without Jesus for Jesus is the almighty and all able God.....
It is the serpent who tells people to use the works of their hands to find approval and God's Word tells us that in the end of the age people will slay their brother as a service to god and He doesn't know them.
Whilst God's Word tells men not to murder, other books tell men to render service to God by the working of their hands: (quote)
THEN SLAY THE IDOLATERS WHEREVER YOU FIND THEM, AND TAKE THEM CAPTIVES AND BESIEGE THEM AND LIE IN WAIT FOR THEM IN EVERY AMBUSH, then if they repent and keep up prayer [become believers] and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them (9:5)
I'm sure after years and years of being indoctrinated by the prince of the power of the air and seeing that your clothing, your temples, your works, your deeds, your sacrifice, your eating customs, your daily prayers have not given you relief from all the anger and soulful knowledge that God almighty does not approve of you, in desperation you try to impress God because you have not believed His Word and take the final step by becoming a murderer. Worshipping the beast, the deciever, the dragon, that wily serpent of old, who is a liar and has been from the start.....and sadly, after all of your hard WORK you wake up in on the wrong side of paradise and find out that not all books are Holy.
God has provided everything and you can do nothing without Him------->>>>JESUS, the one slain before the foundation of the earth.
Believe in Him and inherit eternal life.
Beleive in Him and God will cast away your dirty rags and unclean tongue. For God's WORK is sufficient and efficacious for all that believe.
