Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict XVI and the Koran

Submitted by Rench (United States), Jan 19, 2006 at 17:48

Millions if not billions read the koran and see what it says. But its not practical for many to do what it teaches. The ones who do are the Islamsits in one degree or another. So how does the inclined states handle such a problem. As we see daily its not easy. Because if the Koran means what is written then there's a huge battle brewing. Whether or not the Koran is true is the conflict in the works. The Pope has most probably got to recognize this aspect. But the promblem remains. Is what happened in the sands of Arabia thousands of years ago Truth?
