u said:"Islam is not stuck - it is so flexible, you can turn it to any direction depending on your immediate personal or social needs"
thts not true. if u turn into any other direction than wot the Quran says, u are no longer following Islam.sure there are a few differences in different ppls interpretations but these are very close and all of them are peaceful. Also many muslims themselves dont know enough about Islam.
anyways, here are ur answers:
1 Can a Muslim act in the name of Allah, whatever this action is?
2 Do you think infidels in general represent enough danger to call for their killing?
3 Can a Muslim man marry more than one woman?
4 Can a Muslim woman drive a car?
5 Can a non-Muslim woman wear whatever she wants among Muslim women?
6 Are women and men equal or a man is superior?
7 For Muslims living in the West - what law has priority - Muslim law or the law of the land?
1 No. this act should not be against Islamic laws eg: Killing Innocent ppl
2 No. the Quran permits muslims only to fight non-muslims if muslims or their religion is threathened.
4 Ofcourse they can. Y not? Women in the time of Prophet used to ride horses. so y not cars now?(the saudi arabian law is unIslamic)
5 yes. as long as it covers the sattar.
6 they are equal. the Quran mentions the word man 24 times. and woman? 24
Man as used to mean a male human and a woman as a female human. and in no other sense.
while translating, counting mistakes are made. for eg if a verse in quran uses man to mean mankind, dont count it.
7 The islamic law. Also Islam allows non-muslims living in Muslim countries to freely practice their religion. and the Quran says in Surah Al-Baqarah chapter 2 verse 256 :"Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in God hath grasped the most trustworthy hand- hold, that never breaks. And God heareth and knoweth all things." Unfortuantely not many muslims know this.
If the Muslims in a Non-muslim country are forbiddden to practice Islam eg. France, they can first negotiate and then do wot the Prophet did: migrate to a muslim country.
