The Word Love in the Koran (Quran)

Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict XVI and the Koran
in response to reader comment: Bible versus Koran

Submitted by Jan (United States), Nov 13, 2007 at 08:21

Actually, the word "love" does appear in the Koran. We had a visiting missionary give a sermon at our church Sunday morning and he, too, stated that the word "love" never appears in the Koran. I was totally shocked because I had never given it much thought, but looked it up in the Internet when we got home. The word "love" is included in the Koran several times. These statements are outright lies. I'm hoping that those who make such statements are just misinformed and not doing it intentionally. Please take a few minutes and check it out for yourselves.
