Tariq, Science is not in the Qur'an

Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict XVI and the Koran
in response to reader comment: Quran AND Science

violence in the Bible: to demonstrate its evil, it is not advocated

Quran speaks of Big Bang: The Quran is like a horoscope. It is very general and vague, and so it can be interpretted to mean anything. However, your verse is so general, and hardly speaks of the Big Bang. Only Faith proves God, not science. Did you read my section on the separation of the natural and supra natural?

Embryology: Modern embryology breaks it down into as many as 14 stages, although any number, depending on how specific or general, can be used. Embryos develope slowly over time, so there is no clear cut defining point that can be called a new stage.

Your Koran also said that sperm came from a rib in your back. This is not true at all. The Quran is wrong again!

Serious scientific errors in the Bible, Where? The Creation account follows the evolutionary darwinism.

Your quote personifies the Sun as a person, or even as a God, prostrating itself before Allah. Surely the Sun does not move, or even rise, but the earth moves around it. Sounds like Egyptian animism. The Earth moves around the Sun, the Sun does not move.

The Muslims are so far ahead in science and technology today! Thats why the infidel Americans Abhram tank destroyed all the Iraqi tanks.

Stop kidding yourself. Religious books are not about science, they are about God.
