If you knew Arabic ..you won't ask this silly question..Israel that was mentioned in Quraan..is a person..a prophet..this name in Aramic is composed of 2 words..Isra...and ..eil...Isra means :prisoner or slave..eil

means GOD...so israel is>GOD's SLAVE or ABDULLAH..and it is known that Israel is the other name of JACOB (IACOOB) peace be upon him..so it is not a countries name .. Besides...What is the purpose of ur Questin??Sons OF Israel who God (ALLAH) preferred them to all his creatures ..were the actual sons of Jacob: youssef (joseph) and his brothers..so it is not a story about a people or a country ...tell me my friend,

Judaiism is a relegion or a people or what.?..Could you say "Christian people".."Islamic people"...no..in the actrual definition of the word PEOPLE..this way we can't say American people or Indian people..Indins have for example at least 50 relegions..are they FIFTY PEOPLES? Americans are christians ..muslims Budists..

Hindus..and jews and many others of different relegions..but all those who have different religions consist the American people..

Submitting....
