Dear Observer,

I'm glad that you believe all the FOUR BOOKS, Taurat, Zabur, Injil and Quran, the Qur'an giving massive testimony to all of them as the unchanged, unchangeable word of Allah, with Surah 5:9" (The Table Spread") containing the following:- "Let the people of the Gospel judge by what Allah hath revealed therein.

If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (no better than) those who rebel." Surah 5:47 (Abdullah Yusuf Ali) "If only they had stood fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that was sent to them from their Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every side. There is from among them a party on the right course: but many of them follow a course that is evil." Surah 5:66 (Abdullah Yusuf Ali) "Say: ‘O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord.' It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith."Surah 5:68 (Abdullah Yusuf Ali) and I quote these ayat, because they speak of the Gospel, the ‘Injil' which is the Arabicisation of the Greek word ‘Evangel,' meaning ‘good news,' or ‘news which brings joy,' and you're absolutely spot-on in saying I am weak, yes I am weak Observer, very weak, I'm a broken person, and I have a mighty Saviour to lean on and depend on, and He's strong enough to take care of me in my weakness, and to bring healing to my brokenness, His mighty Name is Jesus, and this indeed is news which brings me great joy.

You say you believe the Injil, so I quote the following verses from it which speak of my weakness and God's strength which takes care of it:- "………………….My power works best in your weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may work through me. Since I know it is all for Christ's good, I am quite content with my weaknesses and with insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 "God's way seems foolish to the Jews because they want a sign from heaven to prove it is true. And it is foolish to the Greeks because they believe only what agrees with their own wisdom. So when we preach that Christ was crucified, the Jews are offended, and the Gentiles say it's all nonsense. But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the mighty power of God and the wonderful wisdom of God.

This ‘foolish' plan of God is far wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God's weakness is far stronger than the greatest of human strength." 1 Corinthians 1:22-25 What if I'm wrong you ask? I often am, but I'm just taking God at His word Observer, the God Who cannot lie, staking my all on Jesus Christ, Him who died on the Cross and did death to death by rising from the dead, and saying to His followers:- "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in Me, even though they die like everyone else, will live again. They are given eternal life for believing in me and will never perish." John 11:25-26 Jesus is the sinners all-sufficient Saviour, His name in Hebrew, Jeshua, literally meaning "God's salvation," the angel of the Lord saying before Jesus' birth to His stepfather Joseph, :- "……you are to name Him Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins." Matthew 1:21 with Jesus' cousin John the baptizer saying of Jesus:- "…………..Look! there is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! John 1:29 You're not worth it Observer, you don't deserve it, you can't earn it, it's a free gift from the God Who loves us unconditionally, do you want it?
