Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict XVI and the Koran
in response to reader comment: Why do people convert to Islam?

Submitted by Muslimah (United Kingdom), Jun 5, 2008 at 02:21

Firstly i would like to correct you where you say, and i quote

"The main reason for conversion is ignorance of one's own religion, ignorance of Islam, disillusionment with society "

You clearly are making a claim that people convert because of ignorance, i'll be sure to tell you that you seem to be the only ignorant person here, ignoring the blatant fact of change, people convert to Islam because its a religion of peace despite what people like yourself say.

"It advocates racism"
Look at the theoretical bias you're article is writing in, you're clearly a hater of islam and muslims.
I would urge you to stop being so hostile and open you're eyes to the truth, which is that people are becoming Muslim because they find that Islam answers questions that their previous religion doesn't answer.

Thank you and i would kindly ask you not to contact me any further.
