To Jeffrey: Salvation of Jesus
Submitted by Richard Lion heart (United States), Feb 21, 2006 at 20:31Dear J,
You speak of repentance. Who do you think need repentance people baptized in Jesus Christ or those who follow the rapist Muhammad?
Have you been baptized Jeffrey. Do you believe in the third person of the Trinity meaning the Holy Spirit?
And Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Do you believe in the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross as your way to salvation? Meaning the only way to God the Father.
John 14:6 (NAS) Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through me."
I have a feeling you want to accept Jesus as your savior but something is holding you. Don't be afraid to ditch the false prophet Muhammad Jeffrey. That's if you truly want to be baptized by the Holy Spirit.
"I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry; he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
This is what Jesus offers humanity Jeffrey.
Rom 10:9-10 (NIV) ... "If you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved."
Do you believe God raised Jesus from the dead Jeffrey? If you do than you are not a muslim and I will be happy to welcome you in the Christian family.
everything is possible for Jesus.
Luke 23:39-43 (NIV) One of the criminals who were hanged there kept deriding him and saying, "Are you not the Messiah? Save yourself and us!" But the other rebuked him, saying, "Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? And we indeed have been condemned justly, for we are getting what we deserve for our deeds, but this man has done nothing wrong." Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom." He replied, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise."
So Jeffrey make up your mind....
