To Jeffrey: denouncing Muhammad is duty

Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict XVI and the Koran

Am I a racist and bigot for denouncing the false prophets Muhammad? No I'm not. I have nothing against Arabs or muslims. However out of love for them, I find it my responsability to make them see that Muhammad was a false prophet. Spreading the Gospel of Jesus is not something good people shy away from.

As for pedophile priests, to me they are the most vile people. Jesus gave a stern warning to those who harm children.

Matthew 18:2-7
"Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever becomes humble like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. If any of you put a stumbling block before one of these little ones who believe in me, it would be better for you if a great millstone were fastened around your neck and you were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of stumbling blocks! Occasions for stumbling are bound to come, but woe to the one by whom the stumbling block comes!"

In the Koran however, muslims are exorted to kill in the name of allah. They are promised paradise if they do so.

Surah 3. 118
O you who believe! Take not as your Bitanah (advisors,
consultants, protectors, helpers, friends) those
outside your religion (pagans, Jews, christians, )
since they will not fail to do their best to currupt you.
They desire to harm you severly. Hatred has already appeared
from their mouths, but what their breasts conceal is far worse.
Indeed we have made plain to you the Ayat if you understand.
