Dear Saladin

I know that you will laugh at this, and I'm sure you are asking these questions just to mock Christians, but I decided to answer anyway

GOD created Adam and Eve out of love and gave them everything including the freedom of choice, Adam and Eve chose to be away from GOD when became sinners, sin in Christianity is the eternal death as described in the old and new testament, sin caused the eternal death and separation from GOD

GOD didn't give up and want us back, how can this happen since we have the freedom of choice and we choose to stay away from GOD, GOD respects our choice, but like any good father, he creates the means for us to go back to him, Jesus was the mean, and the way. Jesus is the word of GOD who became a human for us, to show us the unconditional love of GOD, he set example to humanity by accepting humiliations, torture and death. Death of Jesus changed the concept of the physical death and made the death a way to GOD instead of eternal death (sin), Jesus' resurrection from death was a defeat of the death a defeat of the sin, the salvation can only be done by a pure sinless man who gave his life for us.

But, Why did Jesus have to die, why can't GOD forgive us without having Jesus to die? answer is, Jesus was the only person that can defeat death (sin) by his resurrection, so the idea of Christianity is not only focused on Jesus death, if Jesus died without rising from the death then there is no existence to Christianity, because the disciples of Jesus escaped when he was on the cross, Jesus put them back together only after his resurrection. Jesus told his disciples to go and baptize all nations in the name "of GOD, the Son and the Holy Spirit". That's when Christianity started to spread

Another thing you need to consider when you look at Jesus' death, Jesus could have escaped death, even more, he could have destroyed his enemies, but he chose to show us that loving your enemies can be much more powerful than killing them. Jesus didn't only teach unconditional love and peace but also practiced them, by setting an example and gave his life to save us. He said before he went to death, what love is greatest than giving your life for those you love.

Peace of the lord Jesus Christ be with you

Hundreds of prophecies in the old testaments were about Jesus' Death and resurrection; this was part of the salvation path that was completed by Jesus death and his resurrection.
