Submitted by Italian (Italy), Feb 6, 2006 at 16:01I believe christianity and judaism are two different religions.
bible is a violent book. This is the reason because Jesus gave to us the words of love of New Testament . and catholic believe much more in the new testament than in the bible (bible are readed only in good thing in the mass)
find something cruel in the New Testament indeed. I know in the bible there's something obscure (Deuteronomy 22:28-29 NAB - the rape are permits in the bible.that's a reason to discard the bible).
But i want to tell to you the New Testament teaches to us we must use reason and the heart to our next. You don't kill the rapist, Tariq, and you don't cut the hand even if i stole something. You must correct this behaviours with the words and the jail, if those peoples are not rieducated. Only God (WITHOUT human transition) can judge us in the other world not the community (i disagree with the pople who quotes death penalty).
So, the christians and the muslims don't kill with death penalty the people, even if they are evil.
last but not least, why christianity, buddism, zoroastrians, etc disappeared from islam countries?
why coptic-maronite caldeans community are flowing away?are they "western oppressors"?
no, they're only christians. And pacific christians.
And why the mosques arise in the west, and your people threatened us if we want to preserve our civilization?
Tell to me if the Quran said "loves your enemies" in some suras.
finally, if you think muslims will left the cruel part of the Koran and live in peace only preserving peaceful and spiritual soul of Islam, good luck. your people have a long way to walk.
