Let me ask you something lion heart
Submitted by jeffreyb (United States), Feb 19, 2006 at 15:39Did Paul and the other Apostles 'worship' Jesus or did they take up their cross and 'follow' Jesus and his teachings while giving testimony of His life, death, and resurrection?
Were the Apostles filled with the Holy Spirit and living in obedience to God as Jesus instructed them to do, or were they sinners claiming the blood of Jesus will cover all their sins?
Acts 11:15-18 (Sounds like they believed in Jesus and worshiped God)
As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them just as on us at the beginning. And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, `John baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.' If then God gave the same gift to them as he gave to us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could withstand God?" When they heard this they were silenced. And they glorified God, saying, "Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance unto life."
"Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is easy, that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard, that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
"Not every one who says to me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' And then will I declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers.'
This my friend... Is why 'modern' Christianity is in error... As foretold in the Bible and in the Qur'an...
Are you doing the will of the Father as Jesus did and as the Apostles did?
If not... You, and all Christians, had better start... ;)
