Jesus is the lamb of God who took away the sins of the world

Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict XVI and the Koran
in response to reader comment: To Saldin: Jesus is the lamb of GOD who took away the sins of the world

Submitted by Paul Barnes (United States), Sep 12, 2006 at 10:39

The title to this is incorrect. Jesus did not take away the sins of the world.

It should read ( Jesus is the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world ).

John 1:29 "The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Begold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the SIN of the world."

Just a little reminder.

A brother in Christ
