...how about: "Convert, Be Enslaved or Die by Beheading!"?

Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict XVI and the Koran
in response to reader comment: Why do people convert to Islam?

xtain makes some valid points, but History shows that violence is the number one reason that people have converted to Islam - i.e. Convert, Be Enslaved or Die by Beheading or by the Sword!

This also begs the question of how Muslims take over territories in a purification of sorts:
-firstly, their women have no rights when compared to the men: they may be beaten from the tender age of 9 y/o, and raped or even killed with little inconvenience to the male perpetrator. Therefore, they are hidden away with little more value in life than to have as many children as their bodies can withstand - 7 to 15 children per woman is not out of the question. And given that the Mullahs give reverence to Mothers who have large families, there is much incentive to do something (anything!) for which to be recognised.
-out of self-preservation young Muslim men are attracted to the strongest gang. Couple this with the many types of bonding sessions that they engage in, all else would seem quite tame - rape of any non-Muslim woman is accepted, especially gang rape, and as a group they will often gang up on a single non-Muslim male, beating him, kicking him and even killing him (perhaps as part of Dhimmitude) in the name of Mohammad and Allah. Yet there is never outrage by Muslims against Muslim perpetrators, only a constant stream of family member and friend saying "He is innocent"…"He did nothing wrong." Which interpreted correctly means, he did not do anything wrong, against the Koran or his people, for it is not considered wrong to harm an Infidel.

-ultimately, Islam operates at all levels of society - or should I say, Hijacks any powerful organisation, position, place, thing - including of course religious, political, social organisation (especially charitable organisation, which is one of the methods employed by Hammas and has led to its winning the heart and minds of the Palestinians and thus the election of Palestine), Media (look at Al Jazeera , and has anyone noticed the MSM's reluctance to point out the real criminals of Islam, surely its not just their fear of getting sued!). The Red Cross can't even be called by its name, its got be called the Red Crescent over their – isn't this also for a reason, or two: Islamists are very concerned with publicity and they want the good publicity attributed to them and the bad publicity attributed to the West.

In conclusion, although there are good people in all cultures and religions, Islam is unique in that it has killed and silences any who are for peace and the acceptance of diversity, or who just disagree with the Islamist point of view – just ask Salman Rushdie, the Coptic Christians, the Hindus, the Buddhists to name a few - which is why their societies are the most dysfunctional in the world. Islam is not tolerant, no matter how much we wish it to be.
