I think the idea that Catholics are trying to get across is that good individuals will go to heaven, regardless of their religious denomination, as long as they have never been sufficiently exposed to the true way. If an individual is good, and follows the way of Jesus, even if he does not know he is doing what Jesus said, that individual can go to heaven. TW Pope presents this more accurately further down the page.
