Similarity between Christians and Muslims

Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict XVI and the Koran
in response to reader comment: Similarity between Christians and Muslims

I don't know that much about the Muslim religion except from what i read and see on TV.

What is the difference between the Quaran and the Koran?

However, through study of the Scriptures i have come to recognize that Christendom is a mixture of paganism, heathenism, and Judiasm. The word Christian is not used but three times in the Bible, and then i believe it is used to mock those who followed Christ at that time.

The apostle Paul does not use this word to describe believers. His epistles is the only place i can find in the BIble that we are to follow for salvation. We will be judged as to whether we have or have not believed the Gospel of Christ as revealed in his epistles. Romans 2:16.
