Prophet Muhammad was a Holy Man. His Mission was to unite the warring tribes of Arabia and make of them a great spiritual nation. His true victories was to conquer the citadels of men's hearts to turn warmongers into law abiding citizens, to make all men as brothers, to turn hate into love and selfishness and greed into compassion and kindness. The things attributed to Muhammad and His Cause cannot but stain and tarnish the glorious name of both Muhammad and the Quran. I suspect that people with ideas like this and groups like ISIS never for a moment have they ever truly grasped the significance and purpose of Prophet Muhammad and Islam which was to create law and order and peace on earth. But since Islam fell into the hands of ignorant rulers its Holy Name has been disgraced, its banner has been subverted and both Islam and the Quran cease to exist but as names empty of any force to unite and bring peace to our war ridden planet.

The Quran had the potential to unite all mankind until Islam fell into the hands of ignorant selfish leaders who went about destroying the spiritual foundation of Islam which is brotherhood and instead creating fanatics who know nothing but killing and slaughtering and whose egos are only interested in conquering. Its easy to conquer lands. But to be kind, truthful, honest, sincere, patient and compassionate to all requires much more courage and effort than to slaughter an unarmed person which is the essence of cowardice and nothing to do with Islam which is about the acquiring of virtues. Just as Christ would disown atrocious things like the Inquisition and Holy Wars fought by Christians so too would Prophet Muhammad disown any relationship to actions like those in Iraq which bring great shame to Him. Prophet Muhammad's Mission was about turning people towards a goodly and holy life filled with virtue and kind acts not slaughter and mass murder not about conquering lands and possessions. Those who think that's what His Cause stood for are grossly misinformed. Muhammad's Faith was about spiritual conquest. The greatest of all conquerers is not one who conquers tens of thousands of men but one who conquers his own self.
