To FatimaReader comment on item: The Pope and the Koran Submitted by John (United States), Feb 10, 2007 at 15:08 Fatima, I am deeply saddened that you have left islam. You mentioned the hatred of islam, then with all do respect you have not read the quran or sunnah of the Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon) in context. Quite from Jesus (Peace be upon him) in the bible: "The father is greater than I" "I can of mself do nothing" The bible is written by men that claimed that the words were inspired to them. If this was the case why didn't any of the prophets before like moses and joseph mention that god would inspire men to write or even more importantly that God would come as a man. May God guide you all to the truth. Think about what you are saying, You are saying that God was a man that used to go to te bathroom, get hungry, and sleep. These are not characteristics of a god. I encourage all my christian brothers and sisters to look up videos of debates of the muslim scholar Ahmed Deedat. Read about Prophet Muhammed(peace be upon him) from a muslim prespectibe not a non-muslim. Read the Quran in context all the way through then decide. Again, you can go to youtube.com and type ahmed deedat and watch his debates. I thank you all. May Allah's peace and mercy be upon all Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
