Son of Man

Reader comment on item: A Christian Boom
in response to reader comment: Guess what

Submitted by Servant of Christ (United States), Dec 17, 2006 at 18:02

Guess what accroding to the New testament Jesus is the son of Man and according to the Old Testament we shouldn't have put trust in the son of man.

In the Old Testament it told us not to put our trust in a son of man. Yes, that is very true. God said that we should not place our trust in the sons of men. However, Jesus was referring to the prophecy in Daniel which said that the Son of Man was returning on clouds not the 'son of man' Exodus was referring to. They both have separate context. The Son of Man Jesus Christ was referring to was the one that gives you and I hope in the Resurrection of our Lord.

Have a Wonderful Christmas
