I can supply statistics on criminality of men. There are many more murders comitted by men than women. More men are being convicted for other crimes than woman also. Do you want half of the population that is more prone to crime to have bigger say in front of the judge?

Please think for yourself do not use arguments of people whose only goal in life is to show that christianity is false. They are completely blind.

Islam gives women rights which the bible doesn't. Christianity is false.

Sohali, your sentence is a statement and not a proof. You did not comment on my argument, where I applied exactly the same logic to men that you applied to women. You said that women should not be taken seriously in front of the court because they are pshychologically unstable by nature and I showed you that man have their own faults of nature that could make them less viable in front of the court. Based on that fact and that 1man =2woman in Islamic court despite the fact that both men and women have some flows it means that Islam prefers men and discriminates against women ( unles there is something new we have not discussed yet).

Please read those comments from Koran and tell me how are women better of in Islam than in Christianity and or Judaism.

Men have authority over women. (Koran 2:228)

In the home:

  • "Men have authority over women because Allah has made the one superior to the others, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them." (Koran 4:34)
  • "Mothers shall suckle their children two years completely, for such as desire to fulfill the suckling....But if the couple desire by mutual consent and consultation to wean, then it is no fault in them." (Koran 2:233)
  • Women who disobey their husband will go to hell. (Koran 66:10).
  • "Thou mayest decline for the present whom thou wilt of them, and thou mayest take to thy bed her whom thou wilt, and whomsoever thou shalt long for of those thou shalt have before neglected; and this shall not be a crime in thee. Thus will it be easier to give them the desire of their eyes... and to satisfy them with what thou shalt accord to each of them." (Koran 33:51)

In society:

  • Women do not have equal right to their inheritance (Koran 4:11-12) Women receive half of the male share for an equivalent degree of kinship.

Women who disobey should be beaten:

  • "Good women are obedient.... As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them. Then if they obey you, take no further action against them." (Koran 4:34)
Woman can not divorce in Islam but a man can divorce her just by saying so.

Woman has no say if her husband brings home another woman, so man can take a couple of women if he pleases. So women have no say to what happens even at home.

You know the tree by its fruit. In Bible you have Profetic Women - Miriam (sister of Moses), Anna. Jews selected Deborah as their fourth Judge - that ment she had to have respect and obedience of the whole nation. You have in the Bible examples of Ruth and Esther as women who had respect of the others as well. You have in the Bible a case where daughters got full inheritance of their father and no brother of the father or other male relative got the inheritance.

In the Old TEstament if a woman lost her husband the rest of the husbands family had to take care of her and the children - it was their responsibility. How is that a bad treatment in the Bible?

According to my research in many Muslim Countries Muslim Women can not marry outside of Islam. Man is allowed to marry a Jew ,Zoroastiran or Christian but woman is not.

Our Lord Bless you.

Susan
