Though Fundamentalist Christians may have done well in establishing the United States, it is these very same Christians who kept, traded, and tortured slaves for hundreds of years, as well as wiping out an entire race of native-americans. Ever hear of manifest destiny? This went on until the early 20th century. Fantatics are fanatics whether you are Christian, Jewish, Muslic or just some crazy redneck. What about Bosnia? What about the Crusades?

Fanatacism is a danger world-wide, whether it takes its form in Islamism, Neo-Nazism, or Christianity.
