The Fundamentalist menace!!!

Reader comment on item: A Christian Boom

Submitted by Anis (India), Nov 26, 2002 at 11:15

Philip Jenkins is absolutely correct. People living in the North are oblivious to the fact that the Christian converts gained in the South are the conservative, fundamentalist kind who are as militant as the Islamists.

However the media has conveniently ignored this preferring to focus entirely on the Islamist threat. It is the secular liberals who are under threat from these bigots who seek to impose their dogma on all.I am glad that you have recognized the trends and where we are headed.

The writing is on the wall.

What do we do about it?
