Marriage ages in the US

It was very common for young girls to get married back in the day, it was especially common in the Roman and Greek societies. Here in the US we still have laws that allow girls as young as 12 to get married (more than a thousand years latter!). http://www.coolnurse.com/marriage_laws.htm
