Yeah, it's true that the Islam and Hinduism are the main religions in India and after the British left India in 1947, the continent divided into the nations of the Muslim Pakistan and a majority-Hindu India in an aggressive partition which cost the lives of approximately one million people and displacement of at least eleven million of peoples, this is the past stories of India and Pak. But after the three wars between India and Pak, they tried to maintain peace with each nations and it really gave a pleasant atmospheres in both nations. Nowadays, the news reports shows that, again started the spark of some problems in the relations between the two nations because of the Afzal Guru's hanging, it made a little reaction among the Pakistani's...These are general matters that related to the two nations.

But while checking the islam history, I think the culture and religious view of India is really great but some of the phases still need to improve much more in Muslim's especially they don't promote woman education and woman empowerment. And also they have no boundaries for marriage, if their existing wife is agree to marry. Some of the parts in India have a strict rule that Muslim girl shouldn't go to cinema theatre, public functions and higher studies. Now, it's almost changing and lots of foreigners visit to enjoy the face of India.
