Reader comment on item: A Christian Boom
in response to reader comment: Jesus' good news

I have nothing whatsoever against christians, in fact christians i see them as brothers and sisters. christians are far better than athiests.

You may not, but your religion speaks against them.

i am from england. so was Charles Darwin. his theory of Evolution has done absolutely NOTHING. to help ANYONE.

without religion, there are no morals, ethics, rules or laws. you are free to do as you please. according to darwin we are just like animals, who are selfish, and only think about our own greedy desires.

it is believed that the leaders of countries, that led to the world wars were strongly influenced by Social Darwinism.

Of course, I agree to this point.

all i would like to say to you Ann is, Judaism still until today REJECTS jesus, as being ANYTHING. but accepts all other prophets, Christianity, accepts, ALL other prophets except Muhammad (pbuh) and Islam, Accepts ALL prophets and messengers.

Yes, Judaism rejects Jesus. Too bad the Jewish prophets praised the coming of Jesus.

Islam does not doubt that Moses is the word of God, or that Jesus is the spirit of God. All islam says is that you accept Muhammad is the messenger of God.

Moses was not the word of God... He spoke the words of God but only Jesus is the Word of God. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. Islam also says that the Bible/Torah are corrupted. Also it says that Jesus was not the Son of God.

Also one question to ANY christian here, if i gave you a cheque with just my first name on would you accept that cheque??

How is it that the Authors, of the Bible, forgot to leave their last names??

I don't see what that matters. The Bible's books were usually named after their authors.

Please tell me what are the second names of Matthew Mark Luke and John?

I still don't see how this is relevant. Are you saying they weren't authentic? Then care to explain why they agree with each other. If you check carefully, I believe there are NO LAST NAMES in the Bible. The people were usually known as "______ son/daughter of _________". A book known as "John, son of Zebedee" or "Ezekiel, son of Buzi" are a mouthful for a book. For simplicity's sake, the titles of the books were just the 'first name'. I still don't see how this is revelant.
