Depends On What Part Of USA One Lives

Reader comment on item: A Christian Boom
in response to reader comment: islam is on the rise

If one lives in the northeast or midwestern part of the USA, it would seem that there would be a decline in Sunday Mass church attendence, with the decline in new priest vocations, and as a result, more of the parishes are either closing or are being linked or clostered together in order to share priests. The good news is that in the American south and southwest, were many young American Roman Catholics have moved for career or business opportunities, many new Roman Catholic parishes are forming.

Plus with the help of cable Catholic tv channels such as EWTN, being located in Alabama, it has made the Church a lot accepted in the south, drawing in even new members who were not Catholic before. So the Christian faith in the USA is alive and well. Peace
