Dear S_of_Christ,

Again genesis:.

God creates light and separates light from darkness, and day from night, on the first day. Yet he didn't make the light producing objects (the sun and the stars) until the fourth day (1:14-19). 1:3-5

If Sun is not there where is the Day., Where is the Night?

How can be there Day itself when Sun is not there. As far as we understand sun rise in the morning and sets in the evening during different times for diffferent regions.

Day starts for the particular region. Suppose I am in India my day starts at a particular time which is not day for some other regions.

OK for argument sake if we agree that God started the Day and Night where was he at the time of creation? Was it in Mideast so that all Biblical reference are concentrated in that region.

Is Day and Night comparable wirh what we understands today.

What happened to the Night just before the First day?

You may argue that these are incomprehensible and God can do whatever unreasonable things. Then no need of this debate which is based on Logic and reasoning which is provided to the human beings.

What is my assumption about the Genesis is that it is written by a theologian who had no knowledge about earths' sphericiy, no knowledge about the Day and Nights' relation with Sun and of course no knowledge about photosynthesis (Plants were created on third day before Sun).

So Genesis is false and all theories about Hell,Heaven,Judgement day, Original Sin,Saving are all bla,bla,bla.....

God has created the Serpent also, the Tree of knowledge and all evil beings, plants in the world also which could have been avoided if he is the Creator. Your answer may be God only knows what he intended.

Pls refer http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/abs/long.htm regarding the absurdities in detail for your reference.

I support your spirtual aspects of your beliefs as sympathy, tolerance, mercy, belief in an infinite power but do not believe in the absurdity that Only through Jesus you can be saved.

Hindu Scriptures clearly depict that those who declare that it is only through him God can be realised are fools and they do not reside in reality. They create misery in the world. We believe our Souls are Godly and through spiritual practices and Guidances God can be realised.

Regards,

Shri devi.
