The Glory Of The Christian Faith Is How It Influences The Cultures Its In, Mostly For The Better

Reader comment on item: A Christian Boom
in response to reader comment: The Last Unchanged Religon

One of the main reasons why the Christian faith had spread around the world for the last 2,000 years is because while the God of the Holy Bible has never changed, Christian believers in the different countries have been worshiping him, even when it is in different styles, all for the love, praise, and glory of Jesus. Even in the art forms that are presented of Jesus often show Him in the different backrounds according to the different Christian communities, weither it be an evangelical Prostestant church in Nigeria, a Maronite Catholic church either in Lebanon or in the USA, a Greek Orthodox church in Greece or a local Roman Catholic parish church in the USA or anywhere else in the west, that Jesus is presented in different religious art forms is a reminder that He is the Lord and Savior to all peoples and all times.

While there is still disunity in the Christian faith, Christian believers also pray that the day will come that all will be one just as Jesus had prayed for the unity of His Church. That there are different members and thus different gifts as part of what Paul the apostle had said, "the body of Christ" has always been for the good of the Christian community worldwide and why it has contributed to all the positive development of the west and now to the global south. Because of the good news and the hope of eternel life as offered in the Holy Bible, many more people as shown in the growth of the Christian faith in the global south have become believers, seeing that the Christian faith is truly affirming of life itself. When studying up on the Muslim religion, and in response to the words of the title, "the last unchanged religion", it also can be said that it has been frozen in the period of time known as the 7th century. A faith that is frozen in a period of time simply cannot serve as a needed positive guidepost for everyday living in a very fast pace changing world.

Also what is overlooked often by those who keep information is that the Christian boom will go on in the global south, and because of this global south Christian boom, expect in the years ahead, as is now is begining to be seen, more of the Christian communities in that part of the world are now sending missionaries to the west to re-evangelize it.
