Sohail

Jesus again lies about the end of the world in:

Matthew 23:36 and 24:34, Matthew 16:28, Mark 13:30-31, Mark 9:1, Luke 9:27, John 21:22, Luke 21:25-33 and Matthew 10:23.

Reply:

In most of these verses it refers to this generation or race or in a translation from a different language it says mankind

Other verses state that some people will see kingdom of God, isn't Glory of resurrection part of the Glory of Kingdom of God. After Jesus had risen, the Glory of the Kingdom of God started already exhibiting itself on this Earth.

Sohail:

Jesus lied about praying to him:

And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, `Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it will happen. "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." (Matthew 21:21-22)

Jesus in the above verse says that whatever we ask for in prayer we would get it and here are more verses to prove it:

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8)

Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst. (Matthew 18:19-20 NAS)

Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it shall be done for him. Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours. (Mark 11:24-25)

Do you know what my prayer to Jesus was to see if he could convert me to Christianity. Which I think he won't be able to do.

Reply:

I have asked the Lord Jesus Christ to be my Lord many years ago and I have witnessed many answered prayers in my family and around. When we ask in his name he will give us what is right. I always pray "be your will not mine"; since otherwise we may receive also what is not that good for us, but the Lord knows what is good for us.

Before I became a Christian I prayed to the Lord to help me to believe in him and he answered my prayer, he showed himself to me. I just felt his presence with me and I knew that it was his presence. Before I studied science, physics, and math and tried to understand God but that night I started to understand that there are things that he will let us know right away and there are things we will learn once we will be with him. He cares about us and we can turn to him and pray in confidence!

The Lord wants us to pray and he will answer the way that we know that he answered.

Susan
