My dear christian brother:

You most certainly have a point when you speak on the subject concerning numbers. You won't get an argument from me on that. However, you call yourself a servant of christ. How can that be when christ, whom I respect, follow and love so dearly, was himself a servant of God according to the bible.Hence my small c versus your capital C in christ.

Yes, Jesus Christ was a servant. He chose to serve to be an example to us. Do you believe Jesus is the Messiah, of whom the prophets such as Moses prophesied about?

"22For Moses said, 'The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you. 23Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from among his people.'" Acts 3:22

I also agree with you when you say that christ was the way. I believe the bible quotes Jessus (pbuh) as saying: " I'm the way, the truth and the life. No one cometh onto the father but by me." I fully (100%) agree and believe in that saying. However, if we put these words in their context, we'll find that Moses was the only way in his time and so it goes for every other prophet and messenger of God in their own time on earth.

Not necessarily, I don't think Moses actually told the Jews to believe in he. But he told them to have faith in God as Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob did. Jesus asks for us to have faith in him, him as in Jesus.

"12Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12

This is referring to Jesus. Moses and the other prophets were never called 'the unique Son of God'.

I agree that God sent prophets to speak to his people, but if they are prophets of the same God, YHWH that is, then should they not all agree in teachings? This is why I cannot, accept Islam because it disagrees with some of the previous teachings.

One such would be salvation. Islam teaches that good works determine your salvation, Jesus said, "Believe in me and be saved."

There's much more to say, but the above should suffice for now. Thank you for your time brother.

And thank you for yours as well.

May God guide us all closer to the truth. Amen.

I hope that we all continue our search for the truth.

"31To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:31

"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." Luke 11:9

Fadi.

I hope we can be open to each other's views.

May God Bless You
