Reader comment on item: A Christian Boom

Submitted by December Rain (United States), May 4, 2006 at 18:36

ok i've read a lot here and i have a couple of words to say:

first concerning someone who said that islam is not against christianity well let me remind you that in the koran people from other religions are LABELED specially christians and jews, the simplest example is the Fatiha which is the first thing written in the koran, there you find the words AL MAGHDOUB ALAYHUN (i.e :those whom god is wrathful at ) which refers to jews , and AL DALLEEN (i.e the lost ones) which refers to christians, in addition this labeling and considering others as inferior is present in several places in the koran , so if someone is a believer in islam he believes everything said in koran he will have this sick look at others. further more in all states that lived under islamic law in history non muslims had less rights than muslims (which implies that this religion considers others as inferiors). what's more, in islam u have certain cases where killing is allowed (e.g: jihad , killing of the ones who convert from islam ) how can someone believe that god allows any form of killing !!!!!!??? this is a contradiction of the DEFINITION OF GOD. someone was saying that the bible was changed, in response to that i will tell you that the time between christ's death and completion of wirting the bible is actually shorter than the time after muhammad's death and the completion of TANWEEN of the koran which was finished with al Hajjaj ibn yussuf and u know how important tanween is arabic language (2 words that are written with the same letters can have totally diff meanings after tanween) and concerning HADITH i don't think that the way it was recorded is more reliable than the bible neither time frame wise nor witness wise .

second u consider the numerous translations of the bible a weakness ? well think again, if u think that GOD is only for ARABS then allow me to say you're a bunch lunatics.... this is illogical, why do u have to learn arabic or any language to know God , God is for everyone, don't you consider this a kind of discrimination ?

although i wish westerns specially in europe and america can speak and read arabic so they can visit some arabic websites and see the sick and low opinion muslims have of them........ they will witness muslim tolerance. like we are seeing it in the persecution of christians in egypt and the inability of christians to build churches in most muslim countries whereas mulims build mosks in europe etc.., and the slaughtering of christian missionaries (i have several examples of those). I have a couple of words for the westerners who feel fascinated with islam :THINGS ARE DIFFERENT IF YOU READ ARABIC. I'M 100% SURE THAT YOU WILL CHANGE YOUR MIND IF YOU UNDERSTAND ARABIC WELL. i don't feel like writing anymore but i have a lot to say, feel free to comment or ask.

PS: i am a christian arab, arabic is my native language, i have lived my whole life with muslims and i know.... i know islamic history and i read koran with explanations in arabic, so i'm not talking out of ignorance.

Submitting....
